Pilot Japan, Der Zauberlehrling ist tot !
Happy St. Patricks Day !
Der Zauberlehrling has now finished,
a huge thank you to everybody who came out to Berlin.
Next up "Pilot" the travelling archive I'm part of is off to Japan,
They will be shown at two venues, one in Yokohama at ZAIM [20th - 30th March 2008], and another in Tokyo at the 101 Art Fair [April 03-06, 2008].

Dumb Tings
"DUMB TINGS"
New works by Stephen Dunne & John Strutton
Both Dunne’s and Strutton’s work shares a preoccupation with ritualistic process, debased iconographies and compulsive aesthetics. Sometimes brutal often absurd their approach to figuration is fractured, automatic and schizophrenic. Through a serial production of work both artists attempt a form of cultural reclamation through visual indulgence.
“A collection of Austin’s Spare parts, with an introduction to malignant relatives, piss pot pilgrims and backward looking, inside down, somnambulant truck drivers, driven to dribbling over hermetic trousers and incontinent poetry, they wouldn’t know a dumb ting if it sat up and ate ‘em (starving fools that they are).”
